Our bathing suits have been carefully selected to guarantee high quality. There are three different types of fabrics in the burkini industry. You will of course also find this in our collection! These are burkinis made from:
(1) Lycra : is widely used in swimwear and other sportswear. The material feels exactly the same as bathing suit fabric: flexible and comfortable. This burkini is very comfortable, feels light in the water and fits seamlessly into the skin. Lycra is available in various thicknesses and structures. The prices are also partly determined by that thickness and structure: the quality of the swimwear changes as a result.
(2) Microfiber : this is not a stretch material; and is therefore looser on your skin. Microfiber is light glossy and has a wonderfully smooth structure. It feels incredibly light in the water; and also wears comfortably.
(3) Both lycra and microfiber : our bathing suits sometimes consist partly of lycra (the trousers and sleeves of the tunic) and microfiber (the tunic itself), for optimum wearing comfort while swimming. These bathing suits enjoy the benefits of both materials: they are both light (microfiber) and pleasant on the skin (lycra).
